Pat Duncan autographed baseball single-signed on an Official National league baseball in black fountain pen ink across the panel, Louis Pat Duncan. The ball originates from the Jim Armstrong collection. And it appears that Armstrong applied a coat to the signed panel of the ball as he often did to protect the signature and causing some uneven dis-coloration, otherwise this would be a Nr-Mt specimen. Duncan batted .307 for his career but he is best remembered for playing in all eight games of the 1919 world series against the infamous “Black Sox”, hitting .269 for the series. His autograph is exceedingly rare on anything and here is the only single-signed ball from him that we know of.
