Doc White single-signed baseball. Strong signature, "G. Harris Doc White", across the SS of an OAL Harridge ball originating from the famed collection of Jim Armstrong. Armstrong appears to have neatly coated the signed portion of the ball to protect the signature, otherwise this would rate NrMT. White’s career was significant. He lead the A.L. with a 1.52 E.R.A. for the 1906 A.L. champion White Sox team that was dubbed “The Hitless Wonders.” He then lead the league in wins with 27 in 1907. He finished his career with a 189-152 record and 2.38 E.R.A. over 13 years, enviable accomplishments to most pitchers including some in the hall of fame. He died in 1969 and this is the first single on him we have seen!
